Live Life to the Fullest
--Mikelangelo Loconte and Florent Mothe, Mozart l'Opéra Rock
We leave
Without knowing
Where memories die
Our life marches in the length of a sigh
Our tears
Our fears
No longer wish to say
Yet we still hang on to the thread of our desires
That yesterday once more
We never cease to curse
[Chorus]
If we must die
Better live to the fullest
Keep everything to sacrifice
If we must die
On our pillars I want to carve
That our laughter
Deceived
Death and Time
We hold on
We grasp on
Life like a mistress
Not giving a damn for anything but a caress
She'll offer herself
She'll have no other choice
[Chorus]
We'll meet again, we'll meet again
Where nothing is something
We'll understand where we come frome
[Chorus]
i think
'nos pleurs
no peurs
ne veut plus rien dire'
is better translated to: 'our tears
our fears
no longer mean anything'
or 'no longer have meaning'
even though literally you are correct, it's not really the same meaning. =)
I agree with random.
Also, here are some suggestions:
Our life passes by in the length of a sigh. (less literal, more meaningful)
that even yesterday we continued to curse. (actual meaning)
If we must die
on our gravestones/tombstones
I want to carve
that our laughter
duped/fooled/got the best of
Death and Time
We hold onto and embrace
Life like a lover
